Salvatore Battaglia

Salvatore Battaglia has been passionate about natural therapies for most of his life. He holds qualifications in natural therapies, herbal medicine, acupuncture and aromatherapy. He has been teaching aromatherapy since 1987. He regularly runs innovative online masterclasses and webinars.

He is the author of many aromatherapy books. The Complete Guide to Aromatherapy was first written and published in 1995. It is an internationally acclaimed book that is used as a textbook for aromatherapy education around the world. The book is now in its third edition and is also available in Korean and Japanese. To date over 130,000 copies have been sold.

    I bought this as I am going to update my Aromatherapy qualification next year and I wanted the latest edition of this book. I bought the first edition back in the 90's when I first fell in love with Aromatherapy so I knew this would be my go to textbook for my next course. This is an excellent reference work and THE recommended text for all Aromatherapy students. I have also purchased volume III and can't wait for volume II to come out later this year. If you are interested in furthering your knowledge of Aromatherapy you can't go wrong with this book as it is as informative, as it is educational. Sal is very passionate about Aromatherapy and it shows in all his work.

    What a comprehensive book. So much information is jam packed into this volume. 110 monographs of essential oils. Wow.

    A great book for students of aromatherapy, health practicioners, and lovers of essential oils.

    The 'definitive guide' to Aromatherapy you've been searching for!

    Upon completion of Perfect Potion's Introduction to Holistic Aromatherapy Online course, I was anxious to purchase this text & it certainly doesn't disappoint.

    I have acquired various texts on the subject from well respected authors which are great also, but this one is just so full of information - it covers just about everything you would ever need to know whether you're an experienced Aromatherapist, or a relative beginner as I am.

    The book is well set out, easy to follow & contains extensive essential oil monographs.

    I purchased the author's Aromatree book at the same time & they are the perfect companions.
