Salvatore Battaglia

Salvatore Battaglia has been passionate about natural therapies for most of his life. He holds qualifications in natural therapies, herbal medicine, acupuncture and aromatherapy. He has been teaching aromatherapy since 1987. He regularly runs innovative online masterclasses and webinars.

He is the author of many aromatherapy books. The Complete Guide to Aromatherapy was first written and published in 1995. It is an internationally acclaimed book that is used as a textbook for aromatherapy education around the world. The book is now in its third edition and is also available in Korean and Japanese. To date over 130,000 copies have been sold.

    This book is so very informative & beautifully illustrated.

    I particular like how the essential oils are classified depending upon their source from the plant - i.e. roots & rhizomes; wood; resin; fruit; seeds; leaves & flowers.

    This method of classification aids in understanding how the 'aromatree' works.

    A great companion book with the author's Complete Guide to Aromatherapy Vol 1 (3rd Ed).

    I thoroughly recommend the Aromatree.
